Studying in the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery
Pediatric neurosurgery is a specialized subdiscipline which can only be covered to a limited extent in the medical school curriculum.
You'll find our offering of courses per semester under Teaching.
We also offer seminar courses on the topics of neuroendoscopy and neuronavigation for which at least four students must register. Individualized dated are set for these. You'll find details about these under elective courses.
If you are even more interested in our specialty field, you can also register for clinical electives or portions of your internship.
Find out more about doctoral topics in Pediatric Neurosurgery under Doctoral Studies.
Internship
The Regulations on the Licensing of Physicians also apply to internships. You'll find more information here. A portion of the surgical rotation during internship must performed in pediatric neurosurgery. The duration of this portion is arranged with the Office of Student Affairs (Internship). Our secretary handles the organization of the corresponding dates in pediatric neurosurgery (Mrs. Weber, t: +49 30 450 560 092).
